Mr. Hong formed Strategic Property Associates 1993 and served as its President for 20 years. He has served in senior management positions for Pacific First Bank, Pacific Life, and First Nationwide Bank, in real estate investment, asset management, and lending functions as director, division, and department manager. Mr. Hong has lectured on the subject of real estate investment, lending, and economics at the University of California at Irvine, National University, Webster University, and Pacific States University. Mr. Hong has also served as a Real Estate Receiver for defaulted loan properties, appointed by the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles. Mr. Hong has a B.S. degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.

Mr. Evans has been a key equity owner of the company since 1997.  He has been involved in all aspects of the companies guiding the strategic direction of companies and client relationships.  His experience in due diligence, underwriting, loan servicing, and asset management has assisted our clients in making key investment and problem resolution decisions.  Exposure to billions of dollars of real estate transactions through due diligence and loan servicing activities has allowed him to continue to help our clients enhance their asset management decisions.  Mr. Evans served in management positions for sales and distribution companies, with a particular emphasis on business development, financial management / accounting, customer relations / service, and training.  Mr. Evans majored in Business Management at California State University at Fullerton.

Mr. Clyne is responsible for managing the overall operations of Strategic Asset Services, including a team of over 230 inspectors across the nation. He graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University in 2012, and began managing the day to day operations for a residential mortgage quality control company located in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has since taken on increasingly more responsibility after joining Strategic Property Associates in 2015 where he managed the Reserve Disbursements team. During his time working in this capacity, he oversaw the processing of over $1.7 billion in borrower reserve funds. In addition to his duties as the head of Reserves, he developed skills in many aspects of CMBS servicing including proficiency in lease reviews, DSCR testing, and financial spreading. As well, he assisted in client underwriting models, due diligence site inspections and due diligence underwriting for loans totaling in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
